Project Case: Helping a Client Win a Competitive Office Partition Bid

In June 2026, UniFurn supported a client in an important office partition bidding project.

During the bidding process, the project owner had a strict requirement:

The internal structure of the middle panels needed to have sufficient support and strength.

This requirement was critical because the project involved large office screens, where structural stability directly affected long-term performance.

However, there was one challenge.

According to our existing design and manufacturing process, the internal reinforcement structure was not visually noticeable from the outside.

Although our solution met the technical requirements, it was difficult for the client to demonstrate the advantage clearly during the bidding presentation.

We needed a better way to show the actual structure.

Creating a Functional Miniature Prototype for Demonstration

Instead of only providing drawings or explanations, our engineering team created a small working prototype of the proposed screen system.

The prototype measured approximately:

30cm × 40cm

Although much smaller than the actual product, it was a fully functional model with the same structural concept as the final product.

To clearly demonstrate the internal construction, we carefully cut the model in half and prepared it together with an exploded view drawing.

This allowed the client to show the project owner:

  • Internal reinforcement structure
  • Product assembly method
  • Manufacturing details
  • Engineering considerations

The small prototype became a powerful communication tool during the bidding process.

Winning the Project Through Engineering Support

With the help of the physical prototype and technical explanation, the client successfully demonstrated the advantages of our customized solution.
